Validation dossier & Tool Qualification Pack
IEC 61508-3 §7.4.4
A live-computed, drift-proof Validation & Methodology dossier documents the math and cross-checks behind the SIL/FTA/ETA engines — including a public cross-method SIL benchmark against the published Brissaud & Oliveira (2015) results — and rolls into a printable, assessor-ready IEC 61508-3 §7.4.4 Tool Qualification Pack, a distinctive functional-safety deliverable few tools in this space produce.
เมื่อไรจึงใช้
- An assessor or client asks how the SIL math was validated, not just what it outputs.
- Qualifying DekEn itself as a design tool under a functional-safety project's IEC 61508-3 tool-qualification requirement.
- Wanting an independently checkable credibility anchor rather than a self-graded claim.

| Benchmark case set | Six SIF architectures cross-checked against the published Brissaud & Oliveira (2015) reference values. |
คำนวณอย่างไร
The dossier is recomputed live from the running engine (not a static document), so it can never silently drift out of sync with a code change; the benchmark independently re-derives the same six architectures' PFDavg and compares it to the peer-reviewed published numbers.
ข้อควรระวัง
noteA live-recomputed dossier means a future engine change could, in principle, move a benchmark number — that's the point: drift would be visible, not hidden in a stale PDF.
