Pump (marching engine)
thermo / two-phase
A pump on the rigorous marching thermo engine — for compressible / two-phase / property-varying streams where the GGA carrier model does not apply.
เมื่อไรจึงใช้
- Pumping a fluid that flashes, condenses, or changes density along the line (e.g. a vaporizing riser).

|---|---|
| Head curve & speed | Same H–Q basis; residual uses suction-flange density. |
| NPSH | NPSHa/NPSHr surfaced with a margin; a negative margin raises a cavitation scope note (A34). |
คำนวณอย่างไร
The pump enters the marching solve as a Newton residual on the pressure jump across it, with the head gain evaluated at the suction-flange density. A closed check valve forces zero flow. Byte-identical GGA pump nets are untouched.

Marching pump residual
Driven to zero by Newton iteration. ṁ = mass flow, ρ_in = suction-flange density, N = speed. A closed check valve makes the residual r = ṁ instead.
ข้อควรระวัง
noteThe first marching solve after an api restart pays a one-time numba JIT compile (warmed on startup, but can be slow if it races).
