Shapefile & DXF underlay import

Bring a GIS shapefile (.shp/.zip) in as actual nodes and pipes, or a CAD DXF drawing in as a canvas underlay to trace over — so a network can be built on real site geometry instead of guessed coordinates.

• Modelling a real distribution system where GIS asset data already exists
• Laying out a network to match an existing plot plan or site drawing

Shapefile features are converted directly into builder nodes and pipes (geometry plus any mapped attributes); a DXF import is rendered as a static reference layer under the canvas for tracing, not converted into model elements itself.
