Data-provenance statement (FMEDA)
certified vs indicative
Every SIL calculation carries a derived certified / indicative / user-supplied provenance status for its underlying failure-rate data, surfaced as a gated 'FMEDA Data Provenance' section in the study export — so a SIL number is never presented without disclosing how trustworthy the data feeding it actually is.
เมื่อไรจึงใช้
- You're citing a SIL verification result externally (to a client, an assessor) and need to state whether the failure-rate data behind it is vendor-certified or DekEn's own indicative curated library.
- You imported a vendor FMEDA CSV and want confirmation it's tagged certified-tier rather than silently blended with the indicative default library.
- You're auditing a study export for tool-qualification purposes and need the provenance trail visible in the document itself, not just in the database.

คำนวณอย่างไร
Provenance is derived per field at data-entry time (curated default vs. imported-certified vs. hand-typed) and carried through the calculation untouched, then rendered as its own labelled export section rather than only shown in-app — so the disclosure survives into a PDF/Word handed to someone who never opens the tool.
ข้อควรระวัง
noteA SIL number computed from indicative data is not wrong, but presenting it without the provenance label is the honesty failure this feature targets — always check the export includes the FMEDA Data Provenance section before treating a SIL claim as certified-grade.
noteProvenance is per FIELD, not per study — a single SIF can mix a certified sensor failure-rate with an indicative final-element rate; the label reflects that mix, it doesn't round up to the weaker or stronger tier.
